This hair saloon is their second outlet located at a new shopping mall at The Empire Damansara. This hair saloon consists of two floors which the client separates it into two, the ground floor mainly is for manicure and pedicure whereas the upper floor is for hair services.
Introducing their new business, 76 style cafe
The client wants to introduce their new business by renting another lot located beside the 76 Style Hair Saloon, which they will call it 76 Style Cafe. We need to design something that will compliment both business so that people will know that these two businesses are run by the same owner.
The idea that the client had was to make sure both of the outlets have a raw touch into it but at the same time still carry an exclusive approach so that their owners of different ages can appreciate the design. We decided to use a warm palette for the space by introducing the usage of red and white bricks, strip timber, dark ceiling and white walls to fit the client’s needs.
All these elements create a very cozy yet injects so much energy into the design. The end products of our design really achieved the client”s needs of the wanting it to be grungy yet exclusive. The usage of spot lights help on getting different ambiences of every angle and also the usage of pendant light really enhance the high ceiling design which verticality into the space.
The element of framed paintings are used widely in the space to break the stiffness of the raw materials and indirectly soften the overall space. The furniture that we use really introduce what industrial furniture really looks like. The steel and wooden furniture give a pop element that helps into breaking the monotonous feeling that comes from the raw element usage of the interior.
